OPENING DAY
Scavenger Hunt and Scarecrows by Scouts 
Saturday, September 1
7th

The traditional kick-off scavenger hunt will be ready for those seeking a challenge.  Search for letters far and wide as you frolic on the farm.  A special treat waits for those who conquer the clues and finish the puzzle. Also, local boy and girl scouts will be creating scarecrows from scratch 
to dress up the farm today.

 

FAMILY FUN & GAMES 
Saturday, September 24
th

Old fashioned games for the young and young at heart.  Pumpkin relays, seed 
spittin’ contests, wheelbarrow races and many classic favorites for ALL ages.  
Don’t be
shy - join in on the fun or cheer them on!  

 

MUSIC MAKERS
Saturday, October 1st

If someone plays a guitar on the farm and there’s no 
one there to hear it, does it still make a sound? NO!!  
We need YOU here to enjoy it.  Local aspiring musicians 
will be sharing their talent for your pleasure. 
 The farm is alive with the sound of music.

 

LEGACY EXPERIENCE
Saturday, October 8th - Monday, October 10th

(Saturday and Sunday) - A weekend you won’t want to miss. Live encampments 
brought to you by the French Creek Living History Association will capture and 
enrich everyone’s curiosity and imagination. Demonstrations & storytelling will reflect 
events concerning the settlers and Indians over 200 years ago exactly where you stand.  Receive a genuine account of this hallowed ground’s legacy.

(Saturday, Sunday and Monday) - All aboard!  This year marks the
150th Anniversary of Erie County's connection to the Atlantic
and Great Western Railroad.  Here to bring this monumental heritage
alive is rail transportation author and enthusiast, Ken Springhirth.
Ken's mission is to preserve the history of rail systems and educate the public
on the importance of their contribution right here in Waterford and beyond.

 

GIANT PUMPKIN WEIGH-OFF 
Saturday, October 15th 

A HUGE day of fun.  The 2nd annual Port Farm’s Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off is a guaranteed crowd pleaser.  This global event has competitors hauling their mammoth fruits from far and wide vying for the world record weight.  You have to see it to believe it. 

 

MASCOT DAY
Saturday, October 22nd

Come and play with your favorite local mascots.  
Slap Erie Bayhawk a high-five then race Sea Wolf
 down the slides.  Enjoy a collaborative, interactive 
meet-and-greet unlike anything in the area.

 

 

PUMPKIN-PALOOZA
Saturday, October 29th

It’s every kid’s (and many adult’s) dream – an outrageous pre-Halloween blitz.  
Carving, smashing, launching, demolishing.  Allow this scene of zany pumpkin antics 
to be a release of stress or creativity, the choice is up to you.
